Save Game Location

Don't Starve is a survival game set in a dark fantasy world in which players control a scientist character called Wilson who has been transported there by a demon. Players must ensure that Wilson’s needs are maintained through the collection of resources and construction of shelter, whilst avoiding the dangers of the unfamiliar world, including the deadly supernatural creatures, with the goal of survival.

The game has received generally positive reviews, with a rating of 79 on Metacritic and it also won the "Excellence in Design" award at the 2014 Games Festival Awards. Players have praised its challenging nature and world customisation; however, some have commented negatively on its lack of immersion.

First released on the 23rd April 2013, the game was developed by Klei Entertainment, also known for hit games such as Oxygen Not Included and Griftlands. Users can access the game on platforms including Android, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and iOS.
