Where Are Game Saves Located? - They Are Billions

They Are Billions is a survival game set post-apocalypse, where few humans are left on the planet. During gameplay, players are at the centre of rebuilding civilisation, with the goal of establishing and expanding a number of different territories all connected via rail, in order to protect the remaining life from the threat of infection. As players progress through the game, they will be able to build their colony with new characters, to help them fight off swarms of infection that they encounter between the different locations that they develop.

They Are Billions was developed and published by Numantian Games as a single player game and is available to play on a number of platforms including PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows and Xbox One.

Following its release on 12th December 2017, the game has received some mixed, but generally favorable reviews from fans with an 8/10 on GameSpot and 77% on Metacritic. Whilst some players have spoken highly of its aesthetics and gameplay loop, however some have been quick to criticize the repetitive nature of its missions.

Save Location

For some games, it can seem like game developers have deliberately made the process of locating your save files overly exuberant and complex. Having to navigate through hidden folders, AppData, changing Windows settings, and completing a whole host of other tasks just to do something like create a backup or to move a save file to a new computer.

Thankfully, the developers of They Are Billions are not like those developers. They have been kind to us gamers. You can find your They Are Billions saves conveniently located within your Documents folder at the following path:

%UserProfile%\Documents\My Games\They Are Billions\Saves

To open that path:

Open up File Explorer. You can do this by right clicking your start menu button (bottom left hand corner) and clicking File Explorer.

Then, click the address bar at the top of File Explorer and paste %UserProfile%\Documents\My Games\They Are Billions\Saves into it:

After pasting the path in, all you need to do is hit ENTER, and there you will be inside your save games folder!
