Where Is The SWTOR Screenshot Folder?

Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR) is a MMORPG set in the Star Wars universe, in a period preceeding the franchises's films by over 3,000 years. It was developed by BioWare, a games studio owned by EA, and was released in December 2011. Above all, SWTOR is praised for its stories and narrative immersion, with fully-voiced quests and story arcs for each of the eight unique classes.

Upon starting, players choose from two factions: the Republic or the Sith Empire. There are four classes in each faction which allow players to shape their own story as a Sith, Jedi, Bounty Hunter, Republic Trooper and other iconic groups from the galaxy far, far away.

Players then journey across planets familiar and new, fighting for their faction and playing their part in a tense cold war between the Empire and Republic. The base level cap was 50, though has since risen in expansions that include Rise of the Hutt Cartel, Shadow of Revan, Knights of the Fallen Empire, Knights of the Eternal Throne and Onslaught.

Taking a screenshot in Star Wars: The Old Republic isn't all that hard, all you have to do is press the PRINT SCRN button on your keyboard. For most, the hardest part of the screenshot process is actually finding where those darn things end up. Thankfully, Save Location has all the answers to questions like that. IMPORTANT NOTE: There's an odd bug for some installations of SWTOR which will cause screenshots to end up in one of two folders. One screenshot might end up in the first folder, but the next one you took might end up in the second one. Most people think that their screenshots are going missing (which is a reasonable assumption), but in reality, SWTOR is just mixing up the locations they're going into. Make sure to check both of the below folders for your screenshots, they might end up in both.

Documents

Your screenshots may be found inside your documents, at the following path:

%HomePath%\Documents\Star Wars - The Old Republic\Screenshots

The above folder can be accessed by opening up File Explorer, going to your Documents, then going into the Star Wars - The Old Republic folder, and finally the Screenshots folder:

Install Location

Your screenshots may also be found inside your game installation files. Find out where your SWTOR installation is located, usually it's:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\EA\swtor
• C:\games\swtor
• Or wherever you selected during the installation process

After locating the installation files, simply proceed to the retailclient folder, and you should be able to find your screenshots in there.
