SOLVED: Dark Souls 3 Save Files Location

Dark Souls 3 is set many, many years ago, in a world deep in its darkest ages, ruled by devilish fiends. The five Lords of Cinder have lost their place on the thrones at Firelink Shrine, unlinking the flame and sending the world into darkness. You play the Unkindled, an undead protagonist, with the end goal of returning the Lords of Cinder to their rightful positions at Firelink Shrine.

The game is the third edition of the hit Dark Souls RPG series. It was launched in early 2016, after being developed by From Software. It's available on PS4, XBOX One and PC (Steam).

Dark Souls 3 Save File Location

Dark Souls 3 game saves are saved as a single file on your computer, in the .sl2 format. You may wish to access your save files manually to create a backup, share your save with your friends, or as you can only have one save per character, make a copy and return to it if things go south. Windows

On Windows, you can find your Dark Souls 3 saves at the following path:

%AppData%\DarkSoulsIII
